I am Thomas, one of sensei Steve's students and his teaching has helped me a lot. I started at 7 years old and I started because I was getting bullied so the head gave me some free classes and doing it for a year helped me with my confidence to stick up for myself in front the bully.
After a year it got less worse and the bully stopped but I still carried on at karate and it helped more and more.
Sensei Steve got me to a yellow belt stripe then I quit, but after karate I started to do kickboxing with Sensei Steve and now I am 12 and my life has changed. I was scared but now I am a lot more confident and brave in whatever I do.
